Talk about authentic Italian restaurant…. This place is it!!! The staff is fantastic and very friendly. The food is to die for.  Every time I’ve been there my expectations are met.  We always start off with the grilled seafood as an appetizer which consists of grilled shrimp, calamari, and octopus.  The seafood is grilled in olive oil and garlic.  For our main course I ordered lobster and crab meat stuffed ravioli with the most delicious cream sauce I have ever tasted.  The ravioli had a nice amount of the crab and lobster meat inside.  The portion was huge and delicious.  My boyfriend had the pasta with an enormous amount of seafood consisting of mussels, crab legs, calamari, shrimp, and oysters.  The pasta plate was soooooo delicious.  After we were done you get this huge plate full of fruit which definitely hit the spot!!!!

I definitely recommend this restaurant for a nice romantic and definitely authentic Italian dinner!
Had another amazing dinner here last night.  Starting with the fried calamari which has such a light and lovely batter, it’s hard not to eat  the entire platter (a generous portion).  That and the fresh bread, evoo and parm could be a meal.  However we soldiered on to the eggplant roll (the appetizer) that was stuffed with veal, cheese, peas and covered in an awesome tomato basil sauce… So fresh.  We decided to restrain ourselves and split a dinner.  Thank god we did.  The special (there were many to chose from) lobster ravioli with a creamy shrimp sauce was amazing.  So rich!  We took most of that home, sipped the rest of our wine and nibbled some complimentary fruit and rolled on home.  Great service, local Italian community brought great atmosphere.  Molto bene!
My family has been eating at Ristorante Agostino since they were at the previous location and an up and coming actor was there one night while we dined at the table across from him… Liam Neeson.  He seem to really enjoy the food, but that was more than a few years ago.  Not sure if Liam still dines at Agostinos, but we are still going for the most delicious authentic Italian cuisine!  
From the Linguini con coze to the grilled seabass, the food is always prepared to perfection and served by any one of the amazing staff.  Our regular waiter, Teki, is always smiling and is very attentive.  Making sure the meal comes to the table prepared as ordered!
The only complaints is the parking is not great.  

Enjoy this neighborhood gem and order the Mussels Marinara to start off your meal.  You will be very happy you did!

Ristorante Agostino has Closed


When we migrated from Italy to start a new life in America, little did we know we would own a successful restaurant together with our family, cook for thousands of people and meet so many wonderful clientele and staff, we would call friends. We are disheartened to announce that we will be closing our doors and announcing our retirement Today, August 1st after 38 years of grueling and gratifying service at our restaurant, our second home away from home.
We can all relate and say that the pandemic was hard and our kitchen fire was shocking but throughout it all, you stuck with us and for that, we are so grateful!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and bellies! Your presence and patronage have been the soul and beating heart of Agostino’s. You helped bring our vision to life and we have so enjoyed being part of yours.
We had the benefit of hosting your cherished occasions and milestone celebrations. We got the pleasure of sharing laughs, wine and cocktails with you! We had the best time with you!
It’s a bittersweet ending after all these years in business and we can proudly say one helluva an adventure. At this moment, there are not enough words or sentiments to express our gratitude and convey our experience through it all.
